Man of My Word

Would you consider yourself a man of your word? Most guys would say yes. The question then becomes ... why? 

How important is it to you that:

A) You are a man of your word?
B) Others see you as a man of your word?

'B' lends itself to honoring your word only when 'not honoring it' will have a negative impact on your public image. 
'A' is honoring your word simply because you gave it.

Answer 'B' is driven by external influences, whereas answer 'A' is driven by a drive to do your best to honor your word first and foremost and is based on integrity. Doing what is right, simply because it is right, even if nobody is around to see it.

This impacts every aspect of life; will you allow others to influence your integrity or will you always act with integrity. 

Regarding your marriage vow, you committed to love your wife, unconditionally and forever. Will you honor that commitment in your public and private life; only in your public life; or not at all?
